I’m in my final year of my PhD this year at the Odum School of Ecology, and graduated from New College of Florida with a BA in Marine Biology/Applied Mathematics.

For my dissertation, I am using a combination of field studies and mathematical models to explore how coral occupants interact with their habitat to influence spatial patterns on reefs.  I’ve also worked on meta-analysis metrics, disease ecology, the interactions of multiple stressors, and stock assessments/fisheries management.

Research Interests:  Spatial pattern formation, predator-prey interactions, mutualisms, biogenic habitat, marine ecology, mathematical modeling
